New Draft Doc of Sustainability & Climate Change in Schools

Sustainability and Climate Change is a draft strategy for the Education & Children's Services Systems which has been released in line with discussions from the COPD in Glasgow. It discusses how schools will need to play a part in the education of the young people of today to help meet the challenges of climate change.

Young people are worried about climate change and want to know more about the impact it is having now and how it will impact their future lives. The Department for Education and the education sector have a joint responsibility for preparing these young people for the challenges and opportunities they will face - with the appropriate knowledge and skills".
